Preferred Qualifications: Areas of expertise include biomechanics (cellular mechanics, human movement, rehabilitation engineering, etc.) and engineering design. A rank-appropriate record of educational and/or scientific publication in scholarly journals and/or industrial experience pertinent to the areas of interest listed above is desirable. Successful candidates must be able to teach new and/or existing courses in bioengineering, especially in the areas of biomechanics and design, as well as in selected general engineering topics. Additionally, candidates should possess skills for working in a rapidly developing regional comprehensive university with a focus on fostering of an active-learning and service-oriented student environment.
Appointment will be made on a 9-month multi-year appointment basis available August 2013.
